Dimension charts

How to use fitting dimension charts

Start by matching the chart to the fitting geometry in the piping layout. For elbows, confirm the angle and whether the required center-to-end dimension is based on a long or short radius. For reducers, confirm both nominal pipe sizes and whether the line needs a concentric or eccentric transition. For tees, caps and crosses, compare the chart against the branch, run and overall space shown on the drawing.

Confirm the full fitting requirement

A dimension chart helps identify the likely standard configuration, but it does not complete the specification. Keep the fitting type, nominal pipe size, schedule or wall, alloy, end preparation, quantity and any drawing details together when preparing a request. Those details let the sales team review the charted geometry against the actual pipe run and mating components.
